Our CSA is a partnership between the farmer and a person or family,
When you buy a “share” in our CSA, you pay upfront for your portion of the harvest. We buy the seeds, plant, cultivate and harvest, and then bring the produce to your pick up point. You get a box of freshly picked vegetables and fruit “in season” that we pick for you before we pick for the market every week for our 18 week growing season.
Based on a customer survey last season, we have decided to make a smaller share for the smaller family, 1 share will feed two adults and costs $365.00* per share. We currently deliver to our farmers markets in Rochester and Birmingham.
This is the second year for a CSA, so we are limited on the number of shares available. When you have a share with us, you will know your farmer, and we will listen very closely to your comments and suggestions.
We have a list of the produce that we are planting, and as long as we don’t have any unforeseen crop failure, we will deliver a variety of the listed produce to you.
*Due to the risks in farming your shares are non-refundable in the event of natural disaster.
